SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder 
steers and feeder bulls were steady to 2.00 higher.  Feeder heifers were 
3.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 127.50-
152.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-141.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 120.00-147.50; 500-600 lbs 113.00-130.00.  Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 109.00-127.00, 500-600 lbs 107.00-
118.00.  Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 44.00-56.00; Boners 80-85% lean 43.00-66.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 33.00-51.00; Lean low dressing 25.00-41.00. Slaughter 
bulls were mostly steady.  Slaughter bulls: 1110-2425 lbs 65.00-89.00; 
Low Dressing 955-2225 lbs 55.00-72.00. 
   Goats: [328]  Week Ago: 172.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs one @ 67.50, 20-40 lbs 40.00-80.00, 
40-60 lbs 50.00-130.00, 60-80 lbs 105.00-210.00, 80-100 lbs 135.00-
150.00; Sel 2 Under 20 lbs 32.00-55.00, 20-40 lbs 40.00-100.00, 40-60 lbs 
one @ 75.00, 60-80 lbs one @ 100.00.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 70-100 
lbs 90.00-130.00, 100-150 lbs 100.00-160.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70

   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was mostly 2 cents higher and one location 
was 17 cents higher; elevator bids 4.17-4.27, processor bids 4.32-4.92.  
Soybeans were 1 to 6 cents lower; elevator bids 8.76-9.21, processor bid 
9.29, and export 9.36.  New Crop wheat bids were 2 to 3 cents lower; 
elevator bids 5.04-5.59.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.13 
lower at 64.72.
